Artiste, Olmo Guadagnoli est né en Italie en 1982. Il a grandi dans une famille d'artistes. Son grand-père était batteur et il aimait le dessin, son oncle est clarinettiste et compositeur. Il a développé un intérêt pour la chose artistique dès son plus jeune âge. A 14 ans, il entre à l'Institut d'Art de Florence où il étudie le “décor de théâtre”. Il commence à jouer dans un groupe et s'engage dans la scène artistique underground. Avec un collectif d'artistes, ils gèrent une galerie d'at contemporain : Il Fondo Perduto.
En 2002, dériseux de découvrir de nouveaux horizons, il rejoint Genève et l'Ecole des Beaux Arts, qui deviendra la Haute Ecole d'Arts et de Design (HEAD). Il rencontre un groupe d'artistes sonores avec lesquels il découvre les “Arts électroniques” et il commence à composer de la musique expérimentale. Deux projets voient le jours : Gbpka avec Elia Buletti et UIUTNA, son alter ego, chevalier, sound-voyageur, qui fera résonner tambours, riffs envoûtants et hululements mythiques à travers forêts fluorescentes et les nuages interstellaires...
Depuis 2008 et au fil d’expérimentations passionnées, il a publié CDs, cassettes et vinyles, pour divers labels de la scène underground comme Antisocial, Vaatican records, Zonoff et Nohmad. Avec Wildrfid, il a sorti Koukulo, vinyle aux accents métal, grunge, breakcore. Avec le label berlinois Dasandeseselbst, il a sorti Ummilandia, album electronica arc-en-ciel syncopé. Avec zamzamrec, il a publié Sword, cassette hypna-doom ; Nucleus, divination drone et percussions de l’espace ; et dernier diamant en date ))Fire is Queen(( zamzamrec 025, en split avec DRUSS (Paddy Shine) von GNOD.
In 2011, he moved to Bristol where he operated, inspired and embodied the constant rhythmic pulse and constant diffusion of electric energies and experimental networks... Always... Evolving... Towards the ever renewable sound.
Together with the artist and musican Héloïse Thibault and since 2011, they run ZAMZAM RECORDS a label devoted to exploratory music. They weave a network, or “nerd-constellation”, organize radio shows, concerts and festivals. They started FAG RADIO to broadcast some of the many regular occurrences and happenings. At the 2014 Supernormal festival in Oxfordshire, they initiated a TAPE BAKERY project, where they recorded live concerts, edited and produced the recordings, created, made and pressed the artworks, BAKED the tapes, freshly, on site, ready for collection. ZAM&ZAM commune and correspond with a myriad of musicians, artists, labels, venues, galleries, shops, radios and passionate souls all over the galaxy. They think magic and travel like waves, imagining, inventing and creating the rituals of tomorrow…
In Bristol they also ran a DIY and freeform artspace called The ZZZone. They curated and orchestrated happenings, music events and exhibitions, playing a pivotal role in the city's thriving experimental scenes...
In 2013, He started a new music project called H.U.M. with Heloise Thibault and the pluridiscinary artist Mark Wagner. They play tribalistic, spoken words, drony and mystical sounds. They've been touring Uk and Europe few times, they released a first tape on the mythical Bristol based cassette label Bumtapes and now a full LP TRINITY WAY for the legendary Rocket Recordings label.
In August 2015, Olmo & Héloïse decided to relocate and live in a remote land of nature and music out in the french countryside. They started a duo project called Zohastre. After two years of thrilling touring with this project and following the limited edition cassette of Quark Star /\ Étoile Étrange, the French-Italian duo of Héloïse/H and Olmo/Uiutna is releasing a new LP Pan And The Master Pipers with the flourishing label S.K. Records.
In 2017, they collaborated with a france-based english sculpter WAJ and realized an interactive art piece, a monumental sonorous spider untitled Gisèle Webmaster.
At the moment, they're working on a holographic installation entitled Cosmos, in collaboration with the suisse videast Viktor Konwiki and an A/V live_gaming project and publication entitled Nout's World.
As a pluri-disciplinary artist, Olmo keeps on developping his interest in sound installation, music composition and free improvisation. She is also working on a piece of writing and a drawing book /l\****
