Fag Radio's Bristol transmissions ran from early 2012 to summer 2015 mainly out of the FAG Studios in King Square Bristol. Curated and run by Zamzam's H and Olmo, the station broadcast over 80 live performances from visiting musicians and artists over its three year period. The show also travelled, broadcasting from other spaces and festivals in the UK and Europe before relocating and broadcasting it's last few closing transmissions from 'The ZZ Zone' warehouse

Wizard Of



Wizard Of is an experimental bassmusic solo act hailing from Toronto, Canada.
This is his first appearance outside of Canada and in the UK. 
Using an MPC1000 and just a couple guitar pedals,
Wizard Of weaves long sets of intense rhythms, winding synth lines,
and hazy samples that move between dance floor fillers and transcendent bursts of melodic noise. 
Wizard Of has seen a steady climb over the past two years releasing cassettes in the UK,
Australia, and the US. His tape, "Midnight/Never Die",
was picked #5 Best Cassette of 2013 by Fact Magazine.

The idea is to rove around a festival / or be settled in a corner of the concert room to record music & sounds (( live sets, wind, trees, words in order to compose a series of tapes (dubbed and assembled on site). At the end of the evening we have a whole collection of cassettes so the artists and audiance can get a copy rigt before leaving! This concept has been brought together with our friend and artist Ross, head master of the label BumTapes https://bumtapes.blogspot.com The studio is a tent converted to an art/work inter-space or a mobile zone: sound-editing + copy place ((computer + dubbing machine. sleeve-re/productions ((pens, roller, scissors. window/stall to expose the fresh handmade sonorous souvenirs. People are invited to follow the whole process and can participate with drawings, collages, paint, etc. reserved for the cassettes artworks and/or for spontaneous fanzines, pocket books, dreamlike postcards that will covered the final edition, all in real time***
